I spent hours curating ensembles I thought would not only hold their own in the fashion capital of the world, but ones that would allow me to comfortably explore the city. (Read: outfits built around flats, flats and more flats for walking.) I was so set on my looks, in fact, that never once did I even think to look at the actual temperatures in Paris for the dates that I’d be traveling. (Foolish? An understatement.)

As it turns out, Paris is quite cold in October — particularly when you’re used to 100-degree temps every day. The Parisians were in full-on winter coats, and I had just one thin leather blazer on hand with which to warm myself. I managed just fine in the sun, but nights and early mornings were brutal (think high 40s to low 60s), so I highly recommend learning from my mistake and opting for at least one thicker coat should you travel there around the same time of year.

Apart from that one (very large) fashion hiccup, however, I have to say: I think I nailed it.

Below, everything I wore for my three-day stint in Paris.

What to Wear in Paris

Day 1: Notre Dame

We went almost straight from the airport to a walking tour of the Notre Dame cathedral, so I was aiming for something extremely cool yet semi-comfortable. (A necessity, considering I’d been wearing the same outfit since leaving for the airport a full 24 hours prior.) I think the below items held up rather well, if I do say so myself.

Black beret ($11): Yes, wearing berets in Paris gauche. According to my La Petite Frenchie tour guide, in France, they’re typically only worn by intellectuals or farmers. But they also gave my outfits just the right amount of oomph, and where else was I ever going to wear them? *Shrugs*

Anthropologie Fruit & Icon Drop Earrings ($38): For some reason, I had it in my head that Parisians swanned about drinking dirty martinis all day. (Fun fact: It’s the dry martini they actually favor, not the dirty.) Regardless, these quirky olive earrings were a staple of my trip, and I thought they went quite nicely with this eccentric bustier top.

Amanda Uprichard Leather Wallace Blazer (N/A): I was inspired to pick up this little leather blazer after seeing a photo of Winona Ryder in one, and it definitely came in handy in Paris — it went with every single look I packed. (Can you say space saver?) Unfortunately, it wasn’t quite warm enough for Paris’s October temps, so if I had to do it again, I’d probably pick something thicker; albeit with a similar cut. That said, if you’re going in August or September, a leather blazer will be clutch, and this Superdown option ($98) is just as chic as my sold out one.

Jonathan Simkhai Bustier T-Shirt (N/A): I bust this little Jonathan Simkhai Ren bustier tee out any time I can (it’s too special not to), and I couldn’t think of a more perfect place to wear it than Paris. If you’re looking to recreate my look, this Fashion Nova number ($25; $17) has a similar vibe.

Zara Flared Crop High-Waist Jeans ($50): These jeans are annoying difficult to button, but worth it for the lifted tush and cool girl vibes.

Rothy’s The Point Flats (From $155; $79): I’ve heard miraculous things about Rothy’s for walking, and after hiding these pointed beauties ones away at the back of my closet for years, I finally had the perfect getup to try them out with. The verdict? Sufficient. My toes felt a little sore at the top the next day, but they didn’t give me blisters and I was still mobile, so I’m calling it a win.

Banana Republic Micro Mini Pouch (N/A): If I wouldn’t have had this sold-out leather mini on hand for my lipstick, this circular Telfar pick ($155) surely would have been my next pick.

Bandolier Rayna phone crossbody ($98) and Leopard Wallet ($88): I brought not one, not two, but three different Bandolier phone cases with me to Paris, including this pony hair leopard wallet option. They’re a dream for travel, since they keep your phone and wallet safely on your person at all times. What’s more, the front crossbody design makes you less susceptible to pickpockets than a traditional purse would.

Night 1: Francette

I had planned to wear my Miss Circle Cait dress (see below) for pictures near the Eiffel Tower, as Francette features a fantastic view of the monument: It’s set on a barge just across from it. Sadly, it was in the mid-40s that night, so I quickly pivoted to jeans and a dressy top I had on hand. (You know, just in case.)

Diff Eyewear Emily in Paris Beret ($29): For nighttime, I swapped out my black hat for a red one to pick up on the colored flowers in my shirt.

Mango floral halter (N/A): My exact Mango rose-print satin shirt went quickly, but this Peppermayo one ($75) would make for a great stand-in. Something about the romantic floral design just screams “Paris” to me.

New York & Co. Jeans (N/A): Any dark wash skinnies would work here, though I wore an old pair from NY&Co. This NYDJ pair ($129) comes in a similar blue-black hue.

F. Major The Pump ($249): The brand sent these my way to test ages ago, and I’ve been wearing them religiously ever since. The basic silhouette goes with just about everything, but the real draw is the foam insert that’s designed to give you all the comfort of a walking shoe in a heel. While I don’t know that they’re a perfect substitute for a pair of Kiziks (my sneaker of choice), they’ve never made me cry, and for how often I wear them, that’s saying something.

Day 2: Versailles

For day two, I knew we’d be roaming the grounds of Versailles, so I needed an outfit that would be both photogenic and walking friendly—no boots or heels allowed. (New York has done me dirty one too many times.)

I settled on a darling little printed tweed set and a pair of flats, using my accessories to do the heavy fashion lifting.

Lucy Paris Jacque Tweed Jacket ($95; $39) and Iman Skirt: This matching tweed set was nearly sold out when I picked it up last year (I had to order the jacket and the skirt from two different stores), but it was definitely worth the effort. Not only was it the warmest thing I packed (it’s much thicker than it looks!), the Gossip Girl-esque print checked off all my photography pre-reqs. (Psst—this two-piece Target or Aqua set will help you emulate it.)

Diff Eyewear Emily in Paris Beret ($29): Another day, another beret: Such was my motto in France! The red color of this one made it even more touristy, but frankly, my dears, I didn’t give a damn.  

Everswe Tights ($8): I actually had these tights in mind for the dress below (I’ve been dying to try a monochromatic look), but it didn’t pan out the way I’d envisioned. They did, however, add a delightful pop of color to my tweed look that played perfectly off my beret.

Lands’ End Essentials Ballet Flats ($125; $89): I picked these up ahead of my trip for the cushioned footbed, and they served their purpose well: They got me through 18,000+ steps without so much as a blister. That said, I did wear them with tights, so I can’t say whether my extra-sensitive heels would’ve fared as well had they been bare. To be determined… just not in Paris.

Betsey Johnson Baguette About It Bag ($118; $88): I’ve never felt more chic than I did when a real, live, French woman asked me where I got my purse as I was picking up my morning croissant. This novelty bag is truly everything. Le sigh.

Bandolier Leather Emma Phone Crossbody ($112): I brought this Bandolier specifically for the red hue though I prefer the Rayna above for space. The wallet of this one is super tight for the amount of cards I like to keep on me (five). That said, if you can pare down a bit, it’s gorge.

Night 2: Little Red Door

Miss Circle Narelle Dress ($249): The exact Miss Circle Cait dress I wore to Little Red Door bar in Paris is sold out, but the brand’s Narelle dress is a very close second as far as the silhouette goes. I wasn’t sure what the vibes at this trendy speakeasy would be, and I was worried I might be too fancy, but I was going to be damned if I missed out on the chance to wear this work of art out on the town. Besides, Little Red Door, little red dress… it just seems right, no? (Spoiler: It worked out just fine.)

Polka dot tights ($27): Though I had planned to wear this one bare-legged, I was happy I packed a pair of polka dot tights for even the tiniest bit of added warmth—particularly since we had to wait outside for nearly an hour before heading inside.

Lisa Vicky Amplify Sandals (N/A): The suede fabric of these makes them perfect for dressier looks. My exact pair is sold out (what can I say, I dug deep into my closet for these gems!), but there’s a very similar pair at ASOS ($50) that would easily get the job done.

Day 3: La Petite Frenchie Tour

For day three, I knew I’d be taking photos around the city with La Petite Frenchie Tours (highly recommend!) so I really went for the fashion gusto with the most Parisian look I could muster.

H&M Teddy Fleece Jacket ($30; $26): Truth be told, this teddy fleece wasn’t originally part of my look, but it was so cold and drizzly on the third day, going coatless wasn’t really an option. Thin as it is, its coziness was still rather welcome.

Diff Eyewear Emily in Paris Beret ($29): If you haven’t gathered by now, pops of red are kind of my thing—eat your heart out, Emily.

Sonia Rykiel Striped Floral Sweater ($470): Fans of Sex and the City might recognize this top from Carrie Bradshaw’s own stint in Paris—she wore the original 2003 version in season 6, episode 19: “An American Girl in Paris: Part Une.” Needless to say, I had to have the 2025 reissue for my “An American Girl in Paris: Part Deux,” and thought it was even more special to be able to immortalize the moment with my photos.

Frame Le Slim Palazzo Patch Pocket Jeans ($288): These reminded me of Jessica Biel’s incredible patch pocket jeans in The Better Sister and somehow don’t drag the ground despite my short legs.

Coach Leather Sienna Slides (N/A): These little red slides (*swoon*) really did me proud with how well they tied this look together. As with many of the items on this list, this version is sold out, but if you’re willing to spend a bit more, Gucci still has a gorgeous lookalike pair ($655) up for grabs.  

Betsey Johnson Baguette About It Bag ($118; $88): The bag was fabulous enough to warrant a second appearance, n’est-ce pas?

Night 3: Bar Hemingway

For our last night in Paris, we glammed it up at the Ritz: more specifically, Bar Hemingway, where Ernest Hemingway once drank. It’s swanky, it’s intimate, and it was just the place to bust out my best newspaper clutch, coin purse heels and rosette halter to bid au revoir to the city.

Zara Floral Halter Bodysuit ($60): This slinky little top requires some careful maneuvering in the bra department, but the rosette detailing was right on theme with the roses being served alongside every drink.

Frame  Le Slim Palazzo Patch Pocket Jeans ($288): These jeans came out to play once more, since they added nice balance to the ultra-slim top.

Anne Klein Faceted Crystal Ring Watch ($75): Kevin got me this stunner for Christmas, and “obsessed” is an understatement.

Gosasa Snake Watch ($40): You’ve probably seen this viral Bulgari dupe floating around online, and I’m here to confirm that it’s entirely legit. While it’s certainly no comparison for a $7,000 watch, it looks nice enough on (I have a sold-out version with an extra loop) and it gets the idea across just fine.

Kate Spade Glitzy Ritzy Newspaper (N/A): I could not have chosen a more perfect purse for the occasion. It matched the décor so well, in fact, that a waiter almost took it away mistaking it for the menu (also newspaper-themed). Sadly, it’s been out of stock for some time, and the closest match I could find was from Amazon ($25).

Jeffrey Campbell Pay Me Platforms ($195): Apparently, these are currently on the feet of most of New York’s fashion elite, but I just really loved the little coin purses (though they do feel weird when you walk).

Fall jackets are my favorite thing to buy (and considering how much I love to shop, that’s saying a lot). I don’t even need the season to be at hand to covet them upon sight. In fact, I live in Florida, where we’re still clocking average temps of 90 degrees each day, and I’ve already purchased six of the best fall jackets for 2025. (Don’t tell my boyfriend!)

More than keeping you warm when temps (finally) start to drop, fall jackets are outfit makers. They can instantly take an ensemble from blasé to fabulous (or alternately, ruin a great one). The best ones are versatile enough to go with a variety of outfits, fit well (no misplaced shoulders or sleeves that extend far past your hands) and add to your look in the same way that a great bag or lipstick does.

This season, there are five types you’ll need to complete your wardrobe, some of which you may already own: the barn jacket, the suede jacket, the (duh) leather jacket, an updated denim jacket and a statement-making jacket (think: fun prints or funnel necks).

The 5 Best Fall Jackets for 2025  

The Statement Jacket

Tuckernuck Leopard Drew Jacket ($198): Tuckernuck really outdid itself with this brushed leopard jacket that the brand sent my way, if I do say so myself. I spotted it on @everyday_abby, and thanks to the XXS sizing option, it looks just as good on my short frame as it does on her. (In short? This is about to be a *very* prominent staple in my wardrobe, perpetual summer be damned.) It’s got a perfect mid-weight feel, meaning it’s light enough so that you won’t be sweating to death the minute the sun shines on you for half a second, but you also won’t freeze to death in it come nighttime. I like that it’s long enough to come past my hips despite its cropped length and I can confidently say it’s worth every penny of its $200 price tag—the quality is superb. The finish does have a bit of a stronger scent, but it faded away after trying it on for all five minutes—nothing to worry about!

Princess Polly Teddy Jacket ($109): I’ve been a fan of teddy coats for some time now, and this one is a great little lightweight pick that’s still plenty cozy. Sadly, it’s quite large (I returned the size 0 much to my chagrin), but if you want that *really* oversized look, this is your buy.

Steve Madden Vee Jacket ($139; $104): To know me is to know I am an absolute sucker for a good pop of red. (I am a winter, after all). Beyond being my own personal power color, there’s something about a crimson like this that just stops you in your tracks—which is exactly the point of a statement-making jacket.

Boden Edinburgh Jacket ($459): Anything that evokes Edie Sedgewick is a highly coveted piece in my fashion book and there’s no one I picture wearing this look-at-me houndstooth jacket better.

Maje Double-Face Jacket with Scarf ($790; $296): Maje can do no wrong in my eyes, and this show-stopping cream jacket is a prime example. The scarf is detachable for warmer (or more demure) days, but it’s just the thing to throw as a cape when you want to turn heads. It’s also significantly discounted right now for the brand’s Friends & Family sale, which I highly recommend perusing.

Show Me Your Mumu Penny Lane Jacket ($216; $113): I refrained from buying the Penny Lane coat I’m wearing in the photo above for a full year—because again, Florida—but when it was marked down to $75, I couldn’t resist. I regret nothing! Note that this one is mostly sold out in this color, but still available in a faux leather or long cream version.

The Barn Jacket

There’s no hotter fall jacket trend right now than the barn jacket, otherwise known as the chore coat. After being adopted by the fashion set in 2024, this classic coat is not only back for 2025, it’s been given a fashion upgrade, with elevated details like contrasting collars, toggles and printed lining. Named and constructed for functional utility (those large patch pockets once held tools—who knew?) they were also originally blue, lending themselves to the invention of the term “blue-collar worker”. Let’s just say they’ve come a long way from their 19^th century roots!

Old Navy Barn Jacket ($59): Believe it or not, Old Navy turned up the closest match I could find to this sold-out Aligne Madi coat, which not only looks custom-made for petites but comes in the most lovely shade of khaki green. Honestly? For the price? This cheaper version is a definite keeper. It also comes in the elusive XXS.

Barbour Myra Duffle Jacket ($470): As far as barn jackets go, this one is the cream of the crop. After all, Barbour is more or less single-handedly responsible for sparking the jacket’s 2024 revival. Features include a waxed finish to withstand dirt and grime (a nod to the barn coat’s utilitarian beginnings), a hood and adorable toggles.

Whistles Cord Barn Jacket ($259; $194): This jacket’s less blue collar, more Park Avenue, but it gets the idea across, what with its contrasting corduroy collar and large patch pockets.

Grey Bandit North Shore Jacket ($98): Grey Bandit was kind enough to send me its North Shore barn coat (see: the top pic of this post), which caught my eye for its elevated details. It’s definitely larger than the jackets I typically wear, but I love the plaid lining, which peeks through when you roll up the sleeves, and the buttons at the back that allow you to wear it open. (A nice touch if you plan to wear it over a chunky sweater.)

Zesica Barn Jacket ($42): This Amazon pick isn’t my favorite of the bunch, but if you’re looking to get in on the trend without spending a fortune, it’ll get the job done.

ASTR Rylan Barn Jacket ($188): In a sea of greens and khaki’s, it’s nice to see this refreshingly elegant navy design.

We the Free Denim Barn Jacket ($168): Ultra-oversized fits are not for me, but if that’s your vibe, this Free People pick is sure to deliver. I also dig the toggle closures.

The Updated Denim Jacket

Everyone has a classic denim jacket. Just like Mother Nature’s best creations, however, they’ve evolved over time, so if the one hanging in your closet is of the classic hip-length button-down variety, it may be time for an upgrade. 2025’s styles have cool, modern cuts, oversized fits and chic details that will make it worth your while.

Gap UltraSoft Denim Crop Trench Jacket ($168; $134): Gap has really been stepping up its fashion game as of late, which is not terribly surprising considering that Zac Posen took over as its creative director last year. This little trench is a prime example of the brand’s glow up, with an original-yet-functional design that stands out from the pack. While I can’t say I agree that it’s “ultra soft,” it’s definitely not rough, making it a comfy option to boot.

Steve Madden Justina Jacket ($129; $97): Steven Madden manages to make denim look high-fashion here with this dark wash jacket with a contrasting collar. Kudos, SM. Kudos!

Dynamite Tencel Denim Aviator Jacket ($120): If you’re not yet familiar with Dynamite yet, do yourself a favor and get acquainted: It’s basically Canada’s answer to Zara and H&M. It’s on-trend, affordable and its best stuff tends to sells out, fast—which is precisely why I highly recommend getting your hands on this uniquely flattering little denim aviator jacket while you still can.

H&M Denim Trench Jacket ($44; $31):  If you like the look of the Gap jacket, but not the $100+ price tag (or it’s sold out in your size), allow me to introduce you to this H&M denim trench, which has quite a similar vibe at a fraction of the cost.

Abercrombie & Fitch Relaxed Denim Bomber Jacket ($120; $96): With a funnel neck, side patch pockets and an elasticized hem, this denim bomber oozes cool—kinda like A&F itself.

The Leather Jacket

A good leather jacket never goes out of style, and it’s a good thing, because there’s no more transitional piece in your closet. You can wear it over sweaters. Go for grunge and rock it with a floral mini dress and Chelsea boots. Pair it with a baby tee. The options are endless, and so are the leather styles for 2025.

AllSaints Dalby Leather Biker Jacket ($569): I saw Lindsay Lohan wearing this leather jacket in Our Little Secret, so I asked Santa for my very own. No, but seriously, the collar draped so perfectly on her in the movie, I pretty much had to have it. In person, It fits quite well, and it’s a bit more refined than the other styles in my closet, making it a nice classic option.

Mango Leather-Effect Jacket ($100): Mango and Zara are in an all-out war for the title of my favorite brand right now, so it’s no surprise that this Mango pick, currently en route, found its way on this list. I love the burgundy hue and the XXS sizing option. *Chef’s kiss*

J.Crew Patch Pocket Faux Leather Jacket ($275; $126): I gotta tell ya—anything with buttons has me in absolute chokehold. It just looks so … Parisian! (And as we all know, my obsession with France knows no bounds.) Beyond that, it comes in petite sizing and is machine washable, thanks to its polyurethane makeup. Wins all around!

AllSaints Leather Felda Bomber ($789): Don’t get me wrong, I love my Dalby. But theoretically, if I were to ever replace it, it might be with this super cool and updated bomber version, also from AllSaints.

Michael Kors Leather Moto Jacket ($350: $139): Sure, you have a killer moto jacket in home. But do you have it in the chocolate brown “it” hue of the season? Didn’t think so.

Kim & Kai Kiara Leather Jacket ($400): Everything about this leather jacket, from its asymmetrical zipper to the drapped lining of its collar is absolutely ridiculous, so of course, I absolutely love it. *Shrugs*

The Suede Jacket

If you aren’t traipsing around in a chocolate brown or tan suede jacket by now, is it even autumn? While most of the real ones will cost you a pretty penny, you don’t have to spend $500—or even buy real leather—to get the look. The Steve Madden Deidra jacket I’m wearing here feels just as soft, is just over $100 and has the coveted funnel neck everybody’s after right now—plus, it’s animal-friendly. Win-win!

Steve Madden Deidra Jacket ($139; $104): This stole my heart at first sight with its sumptuous suede look and gently draped sleeves. The collar can also be worn buttoned up for that trendy funnel neck look or draped down across your clavicle.

J.Jill Faux Suede Patch Pocket Jacket ($139): Suede (and faux suede) jackets are notoriously oversized, and I get it, it’s a “look”—but for a petite gal of 5 foot 2, it can make fit very, very challenging. I adore the more fitted look of this J.Jill option, which comes in petite sizing at a reasonable price.

VICI Lytton Suede Jacket ($88; $61): I’m definitely skeptical about the legitimacy of this one’s proclaimed suede for the price, but either way, I think it’s a super chic long option.

Mango Suede Short Jacket ($430): If you’re looking for the real deal, this Mango option is 100 percent leather (hence the high price tag). It also looks incredibly well-cut.

Z Supply Decker Faux Suede Jacket ($158): This is essentially a barn jacket wrapped in suede form, giving you two trends for the price of one. How economical!

Edikted Memphis Faux Suede Jacket ($158): This number looks far more expensive than it is, and the well-placed studs give it a little extra edge, dontcha think?

If you’ve been seeing spots as of late, you’re not alone: Polka dot dresses have officially taken over. All summer long, the tried-and-true print has been rearing its maximalist head, and now, it’s primed and ready to take on fall 2025—just add your transitional jacket of choice.

Hotter than sumptuous suede fabrics, luxe chocolate hues or wide-leg jeans, this bold pattern is *the* ticket to autumn, and I’ve found five of the best polka dot dresses money can buy—particularly if you happen to be a shortie like me.

The Best Polka Dot Dresses to Buy in 2025

1. French Connection Polka Dot Dress

With its full skirt, fitted bodice and whimsical print, this is the exact type of dress Audrey Hepburn would’ve broken hearts all over Rome in—and in ballet flats, no less. I was delighted to find that it was short enough for my 5 foot 2 inch frame—even if I do have to disown my ribcage when zipping it up since it’s so tight up top I can barely breathe. (Worth it.)

2. Urban Outfitters Sonnie Dress

In a sea of solid polka dot dresses, I appreciate the more subtle nod to the print this UO frock gives. (And at less than $50, no less!). The straps leave a little much to be desired (technically, they adjust, but the contraptions on them make a VS bra fastener look luxe—IYKYK), but all in all, it’s a cute, casual option for a hot summer day or a great little transition piece with a leather jacket thrown on top.

3. Socialite Midi Dress

I wasn’t expecting to love this dress as much as I do. Given my height, I was sure that it would drag the floor or look like a potato sack on my petite frame. But it’s cut in such a way that that it somehow works, even without a belt (though you could certainly add one for more shape). It also flows like a goddamn dream—we’re talking main character energy, people!

Ah, novelty purses. Kooky, kitschy and occasionally downright weird, one could say these eccentric little accessories are right on brand for me (and Jared Leto, apparently). Sure, they’re not exactly practical — my Mango shell clutch barely holds a tampon and the vintage telephone bag I won at auction still smells like mothballs — but their whimsy also brings me a whole lot of joy.

Even when they give me pause or make me scratch my head (yes, I am referring to the $895 diamond-encrusted Area chair bag that once graced Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn’s arm in season 4), I still appreciate them for their ability to make me feel something. 

It’s in that spirit that I’ve devoted my Wednesday morning to tracking down the most batshit crazy novelty bags you can buy. Sure, there will be those who can’t comprehend the purpose behind, say, a Sphynx-shaped clutch or a martini purse, but in the words of Nikolas Bentel (a.k.a. the mastermind behind The Pasta Bag), “For those of you asking, ‘Why? The Best Novelty Purses of 2025

1. Betsey Johnson Baguette About It Bag

This bag made my heart skip a beat upon first sight, and I love it even more in person. It’s printed to look exactly like a baguette, with all of the holes, cracks and intricacies of the bread, and the slab of “butter” that hangs from the zipper is the cutest little detail you ever did see. Believe it or not, it’s also highly functional—just the right size for toting essentials. (And if you need more room, a larger baguette version is available.) It also happens to go with everything, so naturally, it’s the no. 1 bag in my current rotation. Find me wearing it everywhere this summer.

2. Nikolas Bentel The Pasta Bag 3.0

Now in its third (and according to the studio, final) iteration, the pasta bag 3.0 has a few more bells and whistles than the original. While the first version was closely modeled after a navy Barilla penne box, this one features a colorful yellow border akin to the De Cecco farfalle packaging. The chic little pasta-shaped charm, vegan leather and Bentel branding, however, are all original.

As far as I can tell, this bag serves absolutely no purpose. (You know, other than being entirely fabulous.) I don’t believe it opens up, which means it won’t actually store a thing—it’s literally just a goldfish bowl on a string. And yet I want it desperately… Sigh.  

4. Kate Spade Slice 3D Pizza Crossbody

I’ve had this little beauty for a few years now, and it’s still a favorite. I tend to save it for more special occasions, since it’s so fancy (the entire thing is covered in crystals and the “pepperonis” are made of sequins). It’s also not the bag to bring along when you’ve got a lot to carry—it zips open at the “crust” and has quite a slim profile. We’re talking a few cards in the slots, a lipgloss and *maybe* a pared-down set of keys if you’re lucky. Still… she’s awfully pretty.

5. Lulu Guinness Lulu Calling Clutch

This brand caught my attention after Kate the Great (the one and only Kate Moss) was spotted wearing its darling lips clutch. I might be even more enamored with this mini phone booth bag, however, which opens at the top and has an adorable little “Lulu calling” inscription. It’s made of recycled satin (read—it will snag), so it’s probably not the best choice for the grocery store , but let’s be real: If it ever comes into my possession, that’s exactly where I’ll be showing it off. It also comes with a matching mini mirror.

6. JW Pei Sadie Cat Clutch

I have so many questions. Where does this cat “open?” Why is he dressed in Dwayne Johnson’s exact outfit from the ’90s (which, BT dubs, is the only reason I haven’t already snatched it up)? Why doesn’t he have any whiskers? Is it true to size? It won’t be in stock until Aug. 15, 2025, so unfortunately, we’ll have to wait to find out, although the site does clarify that it’s not quite big enough for a phone—just cosmetics. P.S.—if the Sphynx is a little too over the top for you, there’s a more demure black cat version, too.

7. Betsey Johnson Kitsch Nice Buns Bag

I debated buying this one for a good long while, mainly due to its height: Let’s just say this burger bag (are you sensing a food theme yet?) is not for the faint of heart. It’s bigger than my head, and I was worried it might look, oh, I don’t know, less chic, more ridiculous? While I’ll admit it’s rather cumbersome to wear, it’s also really fun. The sequin burger meat keeps it from looking cheap, and the little pickle adds a nice finishing touch to the zipper. It also holds an absolute ton, so long as your stuff fits the unique shape.

8. Mango Shell Clutch

Practical, this one is not. It’s on the heavier side, and the chain strap digs into my collarbone a bit. But if beauty is pain, fashion is discomfort, and I’m willing to endure it for the seashell aesthetic (so trendy!). There’s no clasp—it closes via two super strong magnets on the inside—but mine arrived with the magnets attached together, so the bag wouldn’t close right. Luckily, I have a very handy boyfriend who was able to save the day to keep my stuff from spilling out all over the place when I finally find the perfect thing to wear this with.

9. Moschino Teddy Bear Purse

Moschino has always been wonderfully weird (I’m still not over the 2022 burger collection), so naturally, the brand’s novelty bag game is on point. Case in point? This actual teddy bear that’s equipped with a kiss clasp at the back. (You know, like a coin purse, but cuter.) He opens to reveal what looks like just enough space for your non-negotionables (phone, gloss, cards, the end).

10. Enjoinin Popcorn Bucket Purse

Here, we have the quintessential popcorn bag — a.k.a. the kind that comes without calories or those little kernels that get wedged in your teeth. The satin lining sticks out above the bucket-shaped body to give the illusion of the buttery treat, and there’ll be no fear of your actual snacks (or lip gloss. Or sunscreen) falling out thanks to its drawstring closure. The handle also detaches, giving you several ways to wear it on your next trip to the movies.

11. Staud Palm Leather Purse

This summery bag is much smaller than I had anticipated  — my iPhone 16 pokes out from the top— but it’s also one of my most-used accessories. The green just seems to magically go with everything, and the unique leaf shape zhuzhes up even the most boring of ensembles. There’s a little suede insert that keeps its contents (mostly) concealed (though you can also remove it for more space in a pinch).

12. Bottega Veneta Leather The Newspaper Shopper

Extra, extra! As a journalist, this gorgeous leather shopper speaks to my soul. It’s essentially the Carrie dress (you know the John Galliano masterpiece of which I speak) in bag form. While its headlines are in Italian, they’re somehow still more appealing than the actual news. Go figure!

13. Rae of Light Icon Purse

A cheaper take on the $5,795 Judith Leiber martini bag, this showy pick allows you to go bottoms up on your favorite martini for less than $250. It’s bejeweled with crystal rhinestones from top to bottom and even has a neat little little garnish. It doesn’t appear to hold a whole lot (maybe a lipstick, a card and a key, if you’re lucky), but it sure is cute.

14. Puppets and Puppets Phone Purse

Brought to you by the same company that gave the world the “it” cookie bag of 2023, this little gem is poised to be popular with its magnetic closure and faux croc exterior. It also comes in olive for those who prefer a splash of Kermie—and it’s on sale.

Have you ever left the house in a rush only to realize that you completely forgot to raid your dinnerware cabinet before taking off, leaving you without a dinner plate, fork and knife to go? No? Between the all-encompassing selection and the two-day shipping (*chef’s kiss*), the store is my go-to for every season, but it’s particularly clutch for snagging essentials come warmer weather. Those denim dresses you’ve been seeing on everyone from Taylor Swift to Hilary Duff? Nordstrom. That gorgeous new raffia bag you’ve been daydreaming about carrying on your next vacay? Nordstrom. Need a going-out top? A new bathing suit? Take a wild guess: Nordstrom.

24 years after Britney and Justin’s head-to-toe denim ensembles were seared into our collective psyches, the look is cycling back once more, but don’t worry—it’s a lot more wearable this time around. (Just ask Taylor.) This Reformation frock is the perfect case in point. With just a simple fit-and-flare silhouette and a few well-placed seams, it creates a vibe while keeping the embellishments at a bare minimum. The straps are adjustable, and naturally, you can throw this little beauty in the wash with your jeans.

2.Agua Bendita Domenica Swimsuit

This suit is a little cheekier than I’m used to—it’s basically held up by a pair of suspenders in the back—and it’s a splurge, to be sure, but the print screams “Positano vacation,” and really, isn’t that what we’re all after? It also has built-in sun protection, which is music to my nearly 40-year-old ears.

3. Mango Large Straw Shoulder Bag

I’ve been holding out for the Coach Brooklyn bag to hit the site in raffia, but this little beauty, which is half the price, just might quell the urge. There’s a drawstring interior, so you can shield your belongings from (a little) of the sand you’re bound to pick up at the beach this summer, and the large natural leather patch at the front makes it look a lot pricier than it actually is.

4. Madewell Micro Skort

I’m not a big Madewell girlie, but there’s no two ways about it: This skort is damn cute. Cut like a skirt in front and actual shorts in the back, it’s also functional, so you don’t have to worry about flashing anyone while you’re getting out of the car or bending over to get the LaCroix from the bottom shelf at the grocery store. Like your favorite pair of jeans, it will also go with just about anything. While there are only micro sizes left, you can get a very similar look from this Habitual version ($89) or this Vera Moda one ($78).

5. Adelyn Rae Runa Leaf Minidress

Ah, the printed minidress—the true hallmark of spring. While you’ll likely need to pair it with a leather jacket or a denim one until the weather decides to fully cooperate, the dress will serve as the base of your *lewk*, making it key for ushering in the season at hand. It also checks all of my spring frock boxes, starting with the eye-catching print and ending with the adjustable straps and smocked back. (Read: snatched fit.)

6. St. Moran Bangle

This little turn-lock bangle is jussst tight enough for my baby bird wrists, and I love the chunkier design. It stacks (so you can justify getting one in gold and silver—just me?), and it’s also tarnish-resistant, according to the brand, making it a piece you can wear on the daily. Eat your heart out, Cartier.

7. Princess Polly Love Galore Dress

This dress marked my first foray into the Princess Polly brand, and it was exactly what I expected: cute, comfy and affordable. The elastic neckline and waist is big plus for those who struggle to find things that fit tightly enough in the shoulders, and the tiered, boho cut make it a prime wardrobe candidate for music festivals and summer concerts (particularly of the country variety: just add cowboy boots). It also comes in a gorgeous dark red if you don’t trust yourself with the white.

8. Beach Riot Hilary Sweater

I already own (and adore) this sweater in white, but it’s one of those pieces that’s good enough to buy in multiple colors. Currently, I’m lusting after the tan (the perfect spring neutral), but really, I’d wear them all. You aren’t supposed to wash this one in the machine, lest you want to turn it into a crop top per the reviews, but it also clearly states that on the tag, so I’ve only ever steamed it in the LG Styler, and I’ve have zero issues. Well, sans for the makeup stain I got on the neckband (but that’s no fault of the top’s).

9. Wayf Elle Shell and Skirt

My Pretty Woman moment (see: the top of this post) comes courtesy of of Jen Worman (a.k.a. one of my Instagram style crushes) and Nordstrom’s Wayf Elle shell and miniskirt set, which is selling out at record speeds. If you missed it, not to fret: You can get several similar options from the brand right now, including this Julia-worthy little button-down dress ($89). It’s true to size, reasonably priced and  right on trend.(In case you haven’t heard, polka dots are everywhere.) My only complaint is that since these pieces are made of linen (my least favorite fabric), they wrinkle like a mother f-er. Still… worth it.

10. Sam Edelman Bay Jelly Slides

I’m going to be so real: The reviews on these slides aren’t promising. Apparently, the jelly top has been splitting down the middle after a few wears for more than one person. But that’s the beauty of Nordstrom: The free return shipping and generous return policy means that even if the cynics are right (and I’m still holding out hope that they’re wrong), there will be no harm done. And considering they’re only $50 *and* the cutest warm weather footwear I’ve come across in ages, I think I owe it to my feet to at least give them a shot, right?

11. Ramy Brook Alyce Dress

If you’re gonna splurge this spring, let it be on this gorgeous off-the-shoulder Ramy Brook that I’m practically salivating over. (I’m also in love with the matching blouse, $295.)  It’s bright, it’s cheery and it will flow when you walk. In short? It’s what spring dreams are made of. Sure, it’s dry clean only and made for a taller gal than I, but it’s a also an absolute stunner, so it gets a pass.

12. FIFTEEN TWENTY Brenda Dress

This dress belongs on an island like Capri. With a breezy silhouette and cutaway shoulders, it’s designed to be comfortable even in tropical weather, and the bright blue-and-white print is practically begging to be photographed amid the cliffs and turquoise waters of your next vacay locale. Might I suggest a piña colada as an accessory?

13. Phlur Soft Spot Eau de Parfum

No outfit is complete without a fragrance to set it off. While I usually opt for Phlur’s Vanilla Skin or Burberry’s Her, Phlur’s Soft Spot has been creeping up on my list. While most of the brand’s scents are good, this one feels particularly springy, what with its baby freshness. It’s a difficult smell to describe, but it’s a clean floral (freesia, according to Phlur) scent without the odes to grandma that typically accompany such a blend. Like baby powder, but if it didn’t stink? (Are you intrigued yet?)

14. Mango Side-Button Dress

There are two sartorial details that draw me in quicker than a mosquito to a porch light in Florida: stripes and buttons. Give me some variation of either of these things, and my purse strings will open right up. This little Mango number has both, and the red-and-white hue is giving French. (Another piece of Nicole catnip.) I’m not sure if I’m just getting old or if it’s actually cut on the dangerously short side, but it’s so cute on, I don’t really care. (*Shrugs*)

15. Princess Polly Trynia Romper

At the risk of looking like a little girl, I would be all over this romper if they had it in my size. I love the little lace and bow detailing at the neckline and the tailored cut, which is über-flattering (at least on the model). It’s also cotton, which means it will be a) less wrinkly than linen and b) machine-washable, which is great news if you plan on getting a lot of wear out of it (which I would).

16. Desigual Asymmetric Minidress

Another vacay-ready getup, this ultra-lightweight dress will take up next to no space in your suitcase, adjusts at the straps and has a bold print that’s made to turn heads. The wrap waist will be universally flattering, and its Lenzing EcoVero viscose material means it’s a sustainably produced pick that uses pulp from renewable wood sources. Pretty cool, eh?

17. CeCe Scalloped Pleated Dress

If you like to lean into the sweeter side of spring, this dress should more than do the trick, what with its dainty, scalloped collar and girly pleats. It’s modest enough to wear to your next Zoom call but still stylish enough to wear out after (especially with a contrasting little badass leather jacket). It’s rare that I find something I love enough to buy in multiple colors, and yet, I bought this three-piece cozy rib set from Open Edit in not one, not two, but three different shades—it’s *that* good. Not only are the bralette and shorts extremely flattering, they make for some of the most comfortable loungewear I own. The little cardi is also just the right bit of oversized to shrug into when the Florida AC gets to be too much. While the short set is largely sold out, the full-length version is still available in a purple magenta that’s perfect for Valentine’s Day—and on sale.

9. Lola Blankets Desert Dune Blanket

Remember how everyone was obsessed with the Barefoot Dreams blanket a few years back? (Literally, everyone, from Chrissy Teigen to Khloé Kardashian.) Yeah, well, I have it, and after trying the Lola, it was quickly relegated to the back of my closet. (Sorry, Barefoot.) Barefoot is soft and squishy, but the Lola is about as close as you can get to snuggling under a thick, cushy coat of fur (which is probably also why my senior cat prefers it to any other blanket in our house). As someone who hates heavy blankets, I also very much appreciate that it’s oversized without weighing me down at night. If I could afford it, I’d buy one for every room of my house.

12. Laifen SE Hair Dryer

The first time I turned on this blow dryer, I thought, ‘Wow. I’ve been living in the hair dark ages.” Everything about this sleek little machine, from the ultra-light weight to the high-powered wind speed, is impressive. That’s particularly true when you consider that it’s just over $100 compared to the Dyson at $430. It definitely takes some getting used to: The air isn’t nearly as hot as you may be used to feeling from other dryers. But that’s also by design—less heat, less damage. I quickly realized that despite the foreign feeling of the more tepid temp, it wasn’t impacting my dry time in the slightest. It won’t dry you hair in less than five minutes, as the company claims, but at about seven to eight minutes for a full dry, it’s not bad at all.

13. Marrow Fine Everyday Teardrop Pearl Bracelet

I never really fancied myself a pearl fan, but after being sent this bracelet by the brand, I find myself reaching for it more and more. It actually looks really nice with gold or silver and makes for a sweet little stack addition that I’ve been really digging lately. It also comes at a decent price point considering it’s made with natural freshwater teardrop pearls. In fact, it’s one of the most affordable pieces the brand, which is worn by celebs like Megan Fox and influencer Sammi Jefcoate (muses, both!), makes.

14. It’s All Magic by Aliza Kelly

I was introduced to Aliza Kelly after interviewing her for a PEOPLE article, but any horoscope girlies like myself that aren’t already following her on social should do so immediately. In addition to being absolutely hilarious, she has a way of breaking down astrology, a practice very much rooted in mathematical calculations, in layman’s terms, and regardless of your beliefs on the topic, it’s always a fun listen. Her latest book, It’s All Magic, is much the same: Full of short little horoscope-like musings and reflections, you could flip through it from start to finish, like a normal person, but it’s far more fun to open it to a random page on any given day and see if it resonates.

Since the age of 18, when I had a brief stint as a Bath & Body sales woman (I see you, Orland Square Mall), I’ve been clinging to the brand’s candles. And not because I’m particularly obsessed with them, but because, well, I’ve yet to find anything better. I’ve tried the more grown-up brands, but between their terrible throw and gag-worthy scents (why do they all smell like the world’s strongest soap?), they’ve done little but give my boyfriend an instant headache and me instant disappointment. Nest left me less than enthused. Diptyque flat out disgusted me. (I said what I said.) But Albisa? Albisa is the answer to all my candle prayers. After being sent both the brand’s signature Flan and Cultura y Tradiciones scents (both $32), I’ve officially found my new brand. The Million Roses sent me these beauties in October 2023, and they’re still sitting on my desk, where, if they live up to their claims to last three years, they’ll remain until October 2026 (at which point I will immediately replace them). Yes, they’re expensive, but you know what’s also expensive? Regular roses. A bouquet, particularly one of this size, will easily go for $100+ and die in a week, whereas these rehydrated Ecuadorian roses will cost you $130 per year without shedding a single petal for the next 365+ days.

18. Donpapa Slippers

I’m going to say something controversial here: I’d buy these Donpapa slippers over UGGs any day of the week. Yes, they’re made of faux fur and faux suede instead of real Australian shearling. But honestly? They’re 20 times more comfortable, too. The main difference is in the sole. The ultra-thick rubbery bottoms of the UGGs make them too stiff to really be cozy. How do I know? Cause these Don Papas (which, by the by, I stole directly from Stylin by Aylin, a longtime Instagram crush), completely bend with your foot and feel like walking on a cloud. They’re still strong enough for a mailbox run, and they’re super soft inside, they’re just more pliable, and consequently, more cozy.

19. Phlur Vanilla Skin Eau de Parfum

I don’t often recommend perfume, as it’s such an objective buy, but this gorgeous scent seems to be universally beloved by all, including me. It’s got a warm, nostalgic scent that will take you back to your middle school days (shoutout to my Warm Vanilla Sugar people) but it stops short of being nauseatingly sweet. The brand sent me several scents to try, and the first night I wore this one, I went to bed sniffing my shirt and trying to figure out which one I had sprayed because it smelled positively divine. It’s the only one of my perfumes my boyfriend doesn’t complain about, it lasts all day and it doesn’t smell cheap. As such, it’s become my new daily scent.

20. In Good Taste

In full disclosure, I have not been able to try this Valentine’s Day set, since the brand has decided that my lowly blog is beneath it (*insert eye roll here*), so I can’t give it my full stamp of approval. But considering that it’s pretty hard to mess up rosé (you get 12 mini bottles, Advent style) and the price point for the product isn’t bad, it might be worth a shot. Moving right along …

21. Our Place Party Coupes

As you age, there are a few things that begin to spark interest that you never in your wildest dreams thought would. Birds, for instance. (IKYK.) Watches, another. Tableware and drinkware, a third. In this last department, I’ve been really living it up with these Our Place party coupes. Since I don’t cook, the Always Pan doesn’t really do it for me, but translucent blue wine glasses? Oh yes, friends. Oh, yes. I’ve had them for quite some time now courtesy of Our Place and they’re still all intact, (Read: They’re *quite* sturdy.) They wash up just fine in the dishwasher and if you’ve got tall cupboards, they also happen to stack.

Walmart is having a fashion *moment.* Between the Walmart Birkin bag that caught fire last month and its celebrity collabs (Beautiful by Drew is so legit), the mega-retailer went from a style ick to a style “it,” and seemingly overnight. Finding the holy grail Wirkin (IKYK) at Walmart isn’t as simple as say, scrolling through the virtual racks at Nordstrom, though. In addition to the retailer’s own goods, there’s a ton of third-party sites that sell through the mega-store, making its search results a hellish hodgepodge of chaos.

The key to finding the best Walmart fashion finds, as it turns out, is to shop by brand. Pick the right ones, and you’ll bypass the $5 bargain bin specials for far more chic territory. (Yes, I said “chic.”) Free Assembly and Scoop, for instance, are a great place to start, considering the brands’ creative director is Brandon Maxwell. (You know, the guy who designed Lady Gaga’s jaw-dropping white pantsuit at the 2016 Oscars? Yeah. He’s got his own Walmart lines now, and they’re pretty f-ing fab).

Also on point in the style department? Sofia Jeans by Sofia Vergara (naturally) and Time and Tru, which makes some trendier accessories. At the end of the day, style is style, regardless of whether it costs $26, like this patch pocket dress I just picked up, or $129. *Shrugs.*

If you’re still on the fence, you can try out Walmart’s“choose my model” feature, which appears on the photo of some of the items, to get a feel for what the item will look like on your body type. I’m also a big fan of the video function where it’s available, which shows the items up close and personal. (If they look cheap, it’s going to show.) Another pro tip? Change the color of the item you’re shopping to make sure you’re not being distracted from imperfections by a bright hue.

The Best Walmart Fashion Finds

1. Scoop Faux Suede and Shearling Vest

If I didn’t know better, I’d guess this was a True Religion or a Blank NYC find. Sure, the suede and shearling trim are faux, but as an animal lover, that’s just fine by me. Walmart shoppers say this vest runs a little large, but since you’re likely to be pairing it with a sweater, you’re probably gonna want it have a little room anyway.

2. Free Assembly Sleeveless Sweater Dress

The way I snatched this dress up so fast! The patch pockets and gold buttons are giving J.Crew (at bare minimum), but it’s not so fancy you can’t throw it in the wash. I’m also obsessed with the “Invigorating Melon hue,” which will be a godsend on a dreary gray day. (So, all of them in winter.) I was really happy with the quality for the price, too (it’s the dress I’m wearing above, if you couldn’t tell)—so much so that I immediately ordered it in navy upon receipt.

3. Time and Tru Two-Tone Watch

I’m officially in my watch era, and while I usually prefer my accessories to be on the maximalist side, I’m very into a dainty watch, like this one from Time and Tru. While you can resize it, it’s best for larger wrists, since it’s supposedly a huge pain to resize. (It is $13, after all, it’s bound to have a few flaws.)

4. Free Assembly Mock Neck Top

Simple silhouettes look great at any price. Case it point? This darling little mock neck. It’s $12, but with those black-and-white stripes, it could pass for Sézane. (So French!). The cotton and spandex blend will feel like any other (pricier) shell in your closet, and it’s long enough to cover the button on your pants (a personal must).

5. Free Assembly Wide-Leg Chinos

I am not one of those ultra-cool TikTok girlies who can pull off relaxed dress pants like these (namely  because they’ll drown my 5-foot 1-inch frame, a fact the handy Walmart “choose your model” tool confirmed), but if you’re tall (and brat) enough to pull them off, these are a steal. They’re mostly cotton (read: machine washable) and also come in a neutral olive.

6. Free Assembly Pocket Cardigan

Cardigans have been growing on me in recent years (probably because I’m always frigid, even in usually sunny Florida), and I ordered this one immediately upon sight for the bold hue and gold-button detailing. It’s supposedly super soft, but I’ll be the judge of that when it arrives in March. (This baby’s on pre-order.)

7. Free Assembly Puffer Jacket

Puffers and I don’t typically get along—they’re a little too “sporty” for my vibe. Something about the colors of this one spoke to me, though. It looks just as cute in the real-life photos as it does on the model (always a tell-tale sign of a good buy), and It’s made entirely of polyester, which means it will be warm easy to clean. Shoppers say it does run large, though, so keep that in mind when ordering. Honestly, even if you absolutely hate it, it’s $16, so no harm done. *Shrugs*

8. Free Assembly Textured Cardigan

This sweet little cardi has a few little extras that keep it from being basic and blasé—namely, the little puff sleeves and the textured stitching, which make it look far pricier than it actually is. It comes in three classic colors and hits at the hip. It’s not the softest, according to reviews, but again, at $22, complaints are minimal.

9. MoXunLXJ Cubic Zirconia Necklace

The main problem with cheap jewelry? It tends to turn your skin green. But this little beauty is nickel-free (a common Kermit-inducing culprit) and made with hypoallergenic recycled materials, with no copper listed. (Another common Kermit-ifer.) I also like the cubic zirconia detailing, which give it a little extra somethin’ somethin.’ It’s on the smaller side, but if delicate is your vibe, it’ll be right up your alley.

10. Vekdone Faux Leather Jacket

Yes, this jacket has a few iffy reviews — namely those calling out that it’s not super high-quality. But guys. It’s $19.  How much quality can really be expected of a faux leather jacket at that price? Is it going to last you forever or feel super luxe? No. But is the fitted cut and deep rich brown color going to look super cute in your Insta photos? Yup.

11. Weardear Button-Down Blouse

A basic button-down not only says “Hi, I’m Parisian,” it makes for a haute cover-up in the warmer months, effectively pulling double duty. This one gets extra style points for the smart stripes and lightweight feel.

12. Eke Leather Handbag

If I were a betting woman, I’d put money down that this little Eke bag will be the next “Wirkin.” (That’s Walmart Birkin, if you haven’t been following.) It’s made of the same leather, it’s around the same price point, and it has a similar shape and design. It also comes in a ton of colors, though I’m partial to the brighter ones, like this lime green.

13. Free Assembly Polo Sweater

This looks just like a Bloomingdale’s polo I just picked up for more than three times the price. (*Shakes fist at the sky.) It’s a bit thinner than mine, but honestly, that’s probably perfect for spring. It’s made of a similar material blend as the dress I’m wearing above, which is not the softest thing I’ve ever felt, but not itchy, either, and it’s machine washable, too.

14. Scoop Aviator Jacket

There’s been something of a resurgence of the aviator jacket in recent years (just ask Bella Hadid), and while this one is on the pricier side for Walmart, it’s still a steal compared to most. People say it looks far more expensive than it’s $54 bones, and you won’t have to do much to clean it, since it (shockingly!) goes in the wash. It’s apparently also plenty warm, which is good news this time of year.

15. Time and Tru Layered Bangle Bracelet

To know me is to know I love a chunky bracelet, and this one is just the sort to catch my eye. Despite it ringing in at just $6, nearly 100 Walmart shoppers have given it a dang-near 5-star review on account of its lightweight feel and stretchy fit. One hazard to watch for? It pulls at the arm hair, say shoppers, so maybe best over a long-sleeve.

16. Cupshe Plaid Mini Skirt

Cupshe is a brand I was already familiar with outside of Walmart, so I’m fairly confident that the quality is gonna be decent. The plaid print is tailor-made for a coffee date (just try and tell me it doesn’t scream “PSL,” just try!) and it’s made of polyester, which has heat-retaining properties. With tights, it should carry you through the rest of frigid season just fine.

17. Scoop Scrunch-Sleeve Blazer

Long-gone are the days when blazers were just for business. (Ahem, Lauren Sanchez). Paired with jeans and a lacy little corset top, it’s become the go-to look of choice for date night and beyond. I love the burnt sienna (who remembers that crayon?) hue of this one and the fact that it’s relaxed, but not boxy.
