They say that sooner or later, everything old is new again, and never has that been more true than in 2018, the year of unoriginality (See: Reboots for every single movie ever made). The fashion world, too, has been steady traveling back in time, making pit-stops in the ‘90s and the ‘80s (helllooo, vinyl!), before arriving to the ‘70s once more: Spring runways were STACKED with psychedelic wears, from Rachel Zoe’s breezy kimono dresses to Marc Jacobs’ loud retro prints, prompting the inevitable trickle-down effect into our wardrobes via hip threads that would make the Bradys proud. Groovy, baby!

1. Forever 21 Cordoroy Scoop Neck Dress($38): Forever 21 Corduroy Scoop Neck Dress ($38): Nothing gives off a ‘70s flair quite like corduroy — particularly in a pinafore silhouette — and this trendy little number just happens to fit both counts.

2. ASOS Design Cord Jacket with Fleece Collar ($76): Like the staple Sherpa coat of the era, this cord jacket has a fuzzy lining, plus a funky Easter egg blue hue that most definitely appears to be time-warped.

3. Steve Madden Candis ($99): You can’t mention ‘70s footwear without paying homage to the clog, and this modern version, complete with 4.75” (!!) wooden platform, is about as close as gets.

4. BCBGeneratioin Sleeveless Faux Wrap Jumpsuit ($64): Rather than trying to make a denim tuxedo work with two separate pieces in just the right shades (a move best left to the fashion professionals), you can create the same effect with this simple one-piece, now 50 percent off.

5. House of Harlow 1960 x Revolve Harmony Top ($148): Leave it to boho queen Nicole Richie (my goddess) to create the quintessential flowy top for living your best flower child life. As for its styling, you’re on your own: I tried to get her to give up her secrets for wearing oversized threads without drowning in them in an interview for Chicago Collection magazine (RIP) once, but all she really told me was that she loves being petite. *Shrugs*

6. Kenneth Jay Lane Beaded Hoop Drop Earrings ($80): The ‘70s were ALL about oversized hoops, and while a simple silver or gold pair would suffice, it’s also an easy way to add a pop of color to a neutral outfit.

7. SJYP Bottom Bias Cutoff Jeans($97): If these cutoff bell bottoms, complete with frayed hem, don’t conjure up images of RVs, peace signs, and transistor radios, I just don’t know what will.

8. Reformation Vintage Daffodil Dress ($148): This vintage minidress looks like something Marcia Brady would wear, and let’s face it: Marcia had some killer style (Get OVER it, Jan!)

9. Everlane the Square Mockneck Tee ($25): I don’t think I’ve worn a turtleneck since high school (and I’m not entirely sure they were even cool at that point), but believe it or not, this ‘70s staple is making a *serious* comeback. They’re a bit… preppy for my personal taste, but I wouldn’t be opposed to, say, a retro turtleneck dress or a sleeveless version.

10. Frye Addie Harness Midi Boots ($234.50): Sturdy and rugged, these investment boots are the perfect addition to all those far out babydolls and floppy hats you’ll undoubtedly be festing in.

11. Wildfox Daisy Wallpaper Lane Shorts ($88): Who wears short shorts? ‘70s babes, of course! Strap on a pair of roller skates and you’re good to go.

12. Madewell Denim Wrap Blouse ($59): Perhaps the most wearable of the bunch, this versatile denim blouse has one sleeve in the present and another in the past. Personally, I’d pair it with a pair of black skinny jeans, but if you’re going for an old-school vibe, a tan flared skirt should do the trick.

13. House of Harlox 1960 Revolve Jagar Jumpsuit ($129): Perfect for strolling the boardwalk or showing off your best disco moves at a Studio 54-like club, no? (Do those even exist anymore?)

14. Valfre Foxy Lady Top ($32): Everything about Valfre (one of my favorite brands, FYI) has a bit of a cool girl ‘70s vibe, but this bowling tee really takes things next level. Is anyone else suddenly feeling the urge to watch The Big Lebowski, orrrrr?

15. Charlotte Russe Floral Bell Sleeve Shift Dress ($15): Charlotte Russe has really been upping its style game as of late, and this bell-sleeve frock is a prime example. Not only is it right on-trend with an ugly-yet-fabulous floral print akin to one you might’ve seen on grandma’s couch in the ’70s, it’s $15. That’s like, the price of a venti Starbucks. (Well… close enough.)
