Jump on Pantone’s Living Coral Bandwagon With These 10 Colorful Finds

When it comes to shopping, instant gratification is key. I see, I want, I buy! Er … at least in theory.

For whatever reason (budget, sizing, LIFE) my purchasing M.O. doesn’t always work out. Take Pantone’s 2019 Color of the Year, for instance. For all the hype surrounding the soon-to-be phenomenon that is Living Coral, actually tracking down shoppable reef-colored items in the dead of winter has proven to be a bit like finding a needle in a dusty rose and mauve-colored haystack.

But I am nothing if not determined (seriously, though: I will suffer through the worst novel ever written just to say that I ultimately finished it) and I’ve made it my own personal mission to suss out fashionable ways to incorporate the trending hue into your closet.

After scourging what felt like every reputable shopping site in the universe (which, I assure you, is only the mildest of exaggerations) I believe I’ve actually done it: I’ve unearthed 10 brilliant Living Coral finds that embody the color’s “innate need for optimism and joyful pursuits.” Better yet, you can get your hot little hands on right. This. SECOND.

1. Free People Lottie Rib Dress ($41): This sweater dress appears to be warm enough to wear in winter (with tights, of course — I’m no dummy) but is still vibrant enough to don when springtime finally, finally rolls around. Hallelujah!

4. Topshop Satin Bias Midi Skirt ($25): Sure to lend an instant touch of class to anything you choose to pair it with, this gorgeous midi is one I predict you’ll be wearing long after Living Coral’s reign as the shade-of-the-moment has passed.

5. Urban Outfitters Brushed Woven Blanket Scarf ($20): What better way to brighten up a dreary winter day than with a bright piece of outerwear?  This top-rated, raw-edge scarf does the trick rather nicely, if I do say so myself.

6. H&M Slim Regular Ankle Jeans ($13): Who knew that all it would take to up our style game in 2019 was to swap our everyday denim for this dyed pair of in-vogue coral jeans that are less than $15 right now at H&M?

7. Baublebar Scallop Hoop Earrings ($36): If you’re not quite ready to commit to a full-on head-to-toe coral ensemble (I get it), try these gold-tone plated hoops. Voila! You’ve got yourself an oh-so- subtle pop of color.

8. Alice + Olivia Denver Crepe de Chine Shirt ($125): OK, OK, so it’s a bit pricey for a trend piece (even at half off — sheesh!), BUT, considering it’s one of those rare finds you can wear to the office and the bar after work, it just might be worth it.

9. Forever 21 Striped-Trim Keyhole Back Jumpsuit ($22): Lazy dressing days don’t have to be dull! For fans of the athleisure movement (present company excluded, but, I digress), there’s this head-turner of a jumpsuit, which makes up for any laissez-faire design with its brilliant coral vibes.
